UHMW PE sheets are sheets of Ultra-high Molecular Weight Polyethylene, a type of plastic that has excellent properties for various applications. which means that the polyethylene molecules have a very high molecular weight, usually between 1.5 and 9 million g/mol.
This gives UHMW PE sheets exceptional physical properties, such as high impact strength, high abrasion resistance, low water absorption, and excellent chemical resistance. It also have a low-friction surface that prevents sticking and binding, and a high impact and wear resistance that can handle scuffs, scrapes. UHMW PE sheets also have high mechanical strength, very high damping properties, and can withstand constant temperatures from minus 269 to 80 degrees Celsius.
UHMW PE sheets are widely used for engineering and industrial purposes, such as lining chutes and hoppers, conveyor belts and components, gears and bearings, pumps and valves, scraper blades and liners, etc.
